What was needed for this Echuca House Demolition?  This project required a clear block to make the most of the 1400m2 block.

To do this, Maccas Demolition obtained the Demolition permit. Bayside required only a Letter of Appointment from the client, while Maccas organised all other documents, including the 29a( form Campaspe Shire), site plan, and all requirements from a registered building surveyor to obtain a demolition permit.

While the permit was being obtained, the house was checked for asbestos. The house was built in the 1970s but had had some renovations throughout its time, so samples were taken in cases where it could not be determined if the cement sheets were asbestos.

Unfortunately, several of the tests were positive, so the asbestos removal notification was lodged with WorkSafe Victoria.

The Asbestos and all other hazardous materials were removed before the Demolition commenced. Once the asbestos clearance was issued, the demolition started.

The Demolition was Completed using a 13-ton excavator, which separated the recyclable materials on site. Under 90% of the total tonnage removed from the site went to recycling.
